We're open for lunch & dinner every day (not Sunday evenings) and offer a range of baguettes, light lunches, appetizers, starters, sides, dinner & desserts. We change our menu regularly to keep it original so as well as traditional favourites you'll find a few surprises plus vegetarian & gluten free options. We also run a daily range of specials & desserts - see our board in the bar. So whether you're looking for a snack, light lunch or something more substantial we hope you'll find something to suit your taste.
Simon, our Head Chef, is passionate about food and was Head Chef at Mill on the Exe before joining us in 2013. He prepares all our dishes on site with fresh, seasonal & local ingredients. We know it sounds cliched but we do really believe in supporting the local economy and are proud to source the majority of our food within a 20 mile radius. A number of farms in the village supply us with meat and vegetables.
Booking is not essential but we do get especially busy on the weekend so please let us know you're coming if you can so we can guarantee you a table. All our food is cooked to order so there can sometimes be a wait at peak times.
We also offer a take-away service during all food hours except for Sundays.

On Sundays we home cook two roasts with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, an assortment of seasonal vegetables and home-made gravy. We always have Rare Roast Topside of Beef and alternate Roast Leg of Lamb & Roast Loin of Pork
