We're open for lunch & dinner Mon - Saturday and serve Traditional Sunday Lunch. We offer a range of snacks, light meals, appetisers, starters, dinner & desserts. Our original menu is changed regularly and you'll find classic favourites as well as a few surprises plus vegetarian & gluten free options. We also run a daily range of specials & desserts - see our board in the bar.
Our Head Chef Simon is passionate about food and was Head Chef at Mill on the Exe before joining us in 2013. All our dishes are freshly prepared on site with seasonal & local ingredients. We know it sounds cliched but we do really believe in supporting the local economy and are proud to source the majority of our food within a 20 mile radius. A number of farms in the village supply us with meat and vegetables.
Our Curry Night is on the first Weds of each month (Jan 2018 is on the 10th), authentic home-made curry with our own naan/flat breads.
Booking is not essential but we do get especially busy on the weekend so please let us know you're coming if you can so we can guarantee you a table. All our food is cooked to order so there can sometimes be a wait at peak times.
We also offer a take-away service during all food hours except for Sundays.
